Koons inspired collection

The quirky artworks created in over 3 decades by American artist Jeff Koons, have been featured in many ways over the years, from merchandise to collectables, everybody can get a piece of Jeff Koons. But in the last few years his work has also inspired a string of fashion designers, such as Basso & Brooke and Stella McCartney. And now there’s a new collection by Lisa Perry, which features several of Koons’ most iconic pieces.

Some of the playful outfits seem simple and devoid of colour at first glance, but when you look at the back they have prints of Koons sculptures like Pink Panther (1988) and Rabbit (1986). The other pieces are more prominent, such as a short-sleeved A-line dress which is covered entirely in the 2007 Monkey Train screen-print. “He gave us full access to his entire body of work. It was more inspiration than I could have ever dreamed of!” according to Perry.

A portion of the proceeds of the sale of this limited edition collection will go to the Koons Family Institute, an organization founded by Jeff Koons after his son became a victim of parental kidnapping. Initiative of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
