On the Tuesday the 29th of April and Thursday the 1st of May there is a workshop for kids between the age of 6 and 12, in which they can curate their own museum galleries. The workshops are based on the Miniature Museum, based in the Gemeentemuseum in The Hague, which includes 1000 unique photographs, paintings, drawings and sculptures established by artists like Erwin Olaf, Roy Lichtenstein and Damien Hirst. All artists have made their mini artworks especially for the Miniature Museum.
The workshops will start with a visit to the Miniature Museum. What do these miniature artpieces look like? Is it hard to make a miniature painting? The kids will find out for themselves! They will curate their own mini museum gallery and will provide it with their own choice of mini artworks! The use of imagination is a must! The workshops will take place from 14:00 – 16:00.
