Jeff Koons (1955) is an American Neo Pop-Art artist from Pennsylvania, who lives and works in New York. He’s world famous for his camp imagery and statues, through which he gives his vision on banality and seduction. He works with different materials and styles, from ceramics, to photography to wood and metals, depending on what he wants to convey. In 2007 his Hanging Heart sculpture was sold through Sotheby’s for the highest price paid for an artwork by a living artist till that moment; 23,6 Million US Dollars.
