Armand Pierre Fernandez, Arman (1928 – 2005) was a French artist from Nice, who worked both in France and New York. His work was mainly characterized by collections of objects that were deconstructed, welded together or arranged in polyester castings. He was one of the founders of the Nouvelle Réalisme group that also included artists like Yves Klein, Daniel Spoerri and Christo.
