Product details

Christo Vladimir Javacheff (1935) is a Bulgarian artist, who became famous in collaboration with the French artist Jeanne-Claude Denat de Guillebon (1935-2009), Christo works and lives in New York. Christo and Jeanne-Claude are environmental artists who created enormous artworks all over the world. Some of their most noted works are Wrapped Reichstag for which they wrapped the Reichstag in Berlin with fabric, Wrapped Pont Neuf for which they wrapped the Parisian Pont Neuf in fabric and, more recently, The Gates, an installation of over 7500 gates made of saffron colour fabric, situated in the New York’s Central Park.
