Keith Haring was an American artist famous for his pop art and graffiti art that could be found all over New York in the ’80s. He was also openly gay and an activist for the AIDS awareness movement and LGBT community. This special BE@BRICK features a pattern of his “dancing people” in bold colors that pop out against their thick black outlines and its stark white background.
After recently releasing BE@RBRICKs dedicated to Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat, Medicom Toys has paid tribute to the two artists through its VCD (Vinyl Collectible Dolls) line. The two figurines — which each measure around 240mm tall — feature likenesses of the artists, with Basquiat wearing paint-splattered jeans and trainers, while Haring is wearing a T-shirt and jeans bearing images of his work.
