Sleeping beauty Tilda Swinton in the MoMA

27 March 2013

British actress Tilda Swinton has slept for more than 6 hours in a glass box in the exhibition space at the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
The installation is titled The Maybe, and is a returning installation of the actress. She already did this performance back in 1995 in a gallery in London.
The actress was dressed in a denim shirt, a jeans and sneakers and was sleeping next to a bottle of water and glasses with a black frame.
The text next to the box says: “The Maybe, 1995/2003. Living artist, glass, steel, mattress, cushion, linen, water and glasses.”
